If the Nevis Bungy Swing was a man, he’d be a bad one. This guy makes your classic Bungy Jump look like a walk in the park. Give your stag (and all the boys) the thrill of a lifetime on the World’s Most Famous Swing, right in the heart of one of New Zealand’s most beautiful locations - Queenstown.
Self described as “big, bad and loud” - much like your stag, this swing has nothing to take lightly about it. Sweeping a nice 300m arc above a picturesque mountain view, you have the option to fly solo, or tandem with a mate. To keep things interesting, it’s totally your choice as to which way you’d rather swing. Forwards? Easy. Backwards? Sure thing. UPSIDE DOWN? Yeah, no worries mate.
The options don’t stop there either - you are more than welcome/encouraged to try out a cheeky “69”, “truck’n trailer” or “honeymoon” swing with your fave bro too, if you haven’t already before.
Located next to the Nevis Bungy, you’ll find the Nevis Swing 40 minutes out of Queenstown. Since opening in 2008, the swing has become one of the most popular thrill attractions in New Zealand. Prepare for yourself to be strapped and attached to a large bungee cord and suspended 160 metres above the valley floor of the mountain range.
You’ll then wait in suspense for your (literally) breathtaking 300m swing. Opt in to let your boys decide when your drop is, or leave it up to the Bungy team - they will make sure it’s when you all least expect it/ when the stag looks too overly comfortable. Expect for your stomach to feel like it left your body & a massive rush of adrenaline as you soar through the sky, with your mates cheering you on from above.
As fun as your rental party car is, you can’t access this spot yourself. Catch the “Swing Bus” which departs from the Queenstown Bungy Centre & confirm your swing check-in half an hour before your bus. Once you guys are all done and dusted, consider giving the Bungy a go too - otherwise catch the bus back into town and kick on with your arvo/night activities. Enjoy that pumping adrenaline rush and newfound bromance for the remainder of the day. Drink beers. Tell everyone you did 69 together. That kind of stuff.

Oh Queenstown. Adventure activity capital & spectacular scenery - could you ever say no to this New Zealand hotspot? Boasting snow capped mountains & skiing through the winter and hiking, cycling and more during Summer, it would be rude not to.
