If you’re looking for a city to enjoy an entire stag weekend in, Auckland certainly delivers the goods. This city has seemingly endless nightclub options spread out across its many different and interesting areas. From CBD areas like Queen Street, Vulcan Lane, Viaduct Harbour and K Road to other bustling areas like Ponsonby and Kingsland, Auckland has enough nightlife precincts and venues to keep you partying all night long.
It also has stellar wine regions, ferries out to the beautiful Rangitoto and Waiheke Islands plus the Auckland Sky Tower which comes with the adrenaline-pumping activities the SkyWalk and SkyJump.
NZ’s capital has all kinds of choices for nightlife from dance clubs to strip clubs, Irish pubs and cocktail bars. Wander Cuba Street for indie music and bohemian vibes, sit back with a cocktail in a venue on Tory Street or Courtenay Place. Wander down the waterfront winners like Foxglove Bar and Kitchen and Mac’s Brewbar.
While you’re in Welly, make sure you get a load of the other attractions like the Museum of Te Papa, the Wellington Cable Car and Peter Jackson’s WETA Cave (perfect for the movie buff amongst your group).
