In the name of sport, it’s time to pull the trigger. Get your mates & stag together for a day spent clay target shooting; your Stag Do will be all the better for it! Do note however, sobriety is key at this activity- and unlike many other Stag activities, drugs and alcohol are huge no no’s at this one. Clay Target Shooting is available for Stag packages in Queenstown, Auckland and the Gold Coast.
Try something a little different with your Stag for your special week! Stemming from the traditional bird/pigeon shooting, Clay Target Shooting is the sport of firing shots at flying targets made from pitch and pulverised limestone rock. Targets come in various different sizes - though all typically in an inverted saucer shape. Whether you are beginners, advanced or you are a good mix of everything between - Clay Shooting is an activity that can be enjoyed by anyone and everyone. Fire away!

Break One Clay Target Sports in Queenstown offers courtesy transport, full instruction and safety briefings and coaching with shooting a variety of different clay targets. Our Queenstown option provides three different shooting packages dependent on skill level - The Experience, The Challenge and The Top Gun; no skill level will miss out or be disappointed!
Break One also provide the option to compete in group challenges, or to even design your own package which best suits your Stags plans. Tie the epic day together with a trip to the Ice Bar to soothe your sore parts, and hit Ferberger's for dinner!
Waitemata Clay Target Club is one of New Zealand’s biggest - boasting 20 hectares on a property in Kumeu, Auckland. Waitemata are happy to organise a day around your needs & wants - and are experts in organising a fun and memorable Stag outing for the boys. Although alcohol is strictly prohibited before and during Clay Target Shooting, there’s a bar on site open for action once the ammunition is all fired.
After you’ve sunk those clay targets, you can sink just as many beers. Finish off your day with a kayak or stand up paddle board hire in Mission Bay, followed by a good feed.
Gold Coast Clay Target Club, situated north of Coomera is another ideal location for all skill levels. Offering four major shooting disciplines; Trap, Skeet, Sporting and Trench, you are bound to experience something new & exciting. This club features a comfortable club house with a full kitchen & bar facility, as well as a dining area - making it perfect for small or large Stag events.
