Spring is an especially magic time in Queenstown; temperatures range from 8 to a more comfortable 22 degrees celsius, flowers are in bloom and the grass is fresh and green.
Think long days, snow capped mountains & green pastures - what more could you ask for, especially for a golf day with your boys! Frankton Golf Centre is situated just below the world renown Remarkables, providing a stunning backdrop for your hit.
The 9 hole course provides a good game for any skill level - ranging from beginner to advanced. Frankton Golf Centre also provides a driving range, FootGolf course, putting/chipping green and more.
Want to head out of town a little and mix up the scenery? Arrowtown Golf Club is a short 20 min trip away from the centre of Queenstown, and offers an 18 hole course with beautiful views from each fairway - attracting players from all over the world.
Auckland isn’t rated as the world’s third most liveable city for nothing. Think urban adventures, natural wonders, stunning seascapes and an abundance of wine, food & shopping. Have a specific Stag Do in mind for your (almost) hitched mate? Auckland will most likely deliver.
Clarkes Beach Golf Club is situated just on Manukau Harbour in Auckland - and has been voted as one of the top ten country golf courses in New Zealand. Haven’t sold you yet? This course boasts an 18 hole game, with a detailed aerial preview of each hole on their website - if the competitive side of you or your stag is interested in prepping for the big day.
Known as New Zealand’s culinary and creative capital, Wellington is another location you want to consider for your Stag’s Do. Shandon Golf Club is situated just on the Hutt River, out from Wellington city centre. Boasting an iconic, well manicured 18 hole course - this green is more challenging than others, with water hazards & trees to contend with. While having a hit, enjoy & take in the flora and birds along your way.
Golf aside, Wellington provides entertainment for days on end - with an abundance in museums, galleries, a vibrant street culture and nature lookouts and reserves. Is your stag into casual dining, coffees and craft beers? Look no further.
Sunny and situated just south of Brisbane on a vast & blue coastline, the Gold Coast is one place you shouldn’t underestimate. Home to amazing nightlife, cafe culture & of course, watersports, your boys will have the week of their life.
Book out a day on the green at either the Palmer Golf Course in Robina, or the Club at Parkwood Village near Southport for a hit. Both Par 71 championship layouts, these 18 hole courses won’t disappoint.
