Burleigh Beach
An absolute must do while on the Gold Coast, is a visit to Burleigh Hill for a picnic and a drink as you watch the sun go down and surfers catch the final waves of the day. Some of the best waves have been caught at Burleigh, the swimming conditions are typically flawless and you can count on a buzzing atmosphere as everyone settles in for a good old Sunday sesh on the hill. Snapper, Currumbin
Calling all Surfer’s looking to snag some of the smoothest waves with a magnificent view of Currumbin. Snapper is almost always pumping! Natural rock pools, a curved shore and maxed swell provide the perfect conditions. There is a massive stretch of sand for the taking and it’s always a good time if you just want to jump in and cool off! Once you’ve had your soak of the sun, head up to the mainroad and enjoy a peanut butter Acai from the Salt Mill. The perfect refreshment after a wicked sesh.
Surfer’s Paradise
Located seconds from the clubs, the waves await you! Typically popular with the tourists, Surfer’s Paradise beach has everything quintessentially Gold Coast. The boys in yellow and red watching out for you and your mates that are still a little hazy from the night before. The meter maids that strut their stuff in itty bitty golden bikinis and high heels. Oh and the biggest array of shops and eateries to choose from after you work up an appetite!
The Spit
The Spit, located up the more Northern end of the Gold Coast, has a few great spots to choose from!
