Skydiving
Go BIG or GO home, start your epic trip with the thrill of a lifetime by literally throwing yourself out of a plane 14,000 feet up. Nothing screams wild weekend quite like a skydiving experience! Not to mention the stunning view of the GC you can enjoy (or try to enjoy) on the descent. We highly recommend this for any fellow daredevils out there or perhaps someone looking to overcome a fear of heights on their visit to the GC, because there is no time like the present! Live a little.
Day at the Races
Grab the lads and make sure you scrub up alright because you are off to the races! Yeehaw, a day of drinking and betting to get you in the mood for the night ahead, yes please! Whether you’re after a couple of beers trackside or more of a VIP full course experience, we’ve got you covered. The Gold Coast Turf Club will spoil you with package options, whether you are up for some grey goose on the rocks or a more budget friendly limitless beers, you are bound to feel like a winner!
Gold Coast Paintball Skirmish
Unleash your inner demons and hit up the Paintball arena where boys become men and real men cry. This is not for the faint hearted, this is war! Have a heated afternoon shooting at your best mates, in a friendly manner (or not), as you relieve some stress! You will all be grinning ear to ear with a few battle scars after this epic activity. So get your hottest camouflage gear out or pull a big d*ck move and wear something bright and fearless. Let’s figure out who is shouting drinks after and who is the ultimate alpha among us.
Boat Party Cruise
It would be criminal to make a visit to the Gold Coast and not get out on the water! Not to mention, how crazy you would have to be to miss out on the Boat Party, a super lit time drinking your way through the boats supply and dancing with some particularly good looking locals. Come alone or get together a bunch of your best friends for what we can promise is a day you will be reminiscing on for MONTHS. You get drunk double as fast and wobbally pretty much right away so get your sea legs ready, it’s bound to get messy out on the East Coast.
Army Tank Ride
Looking for something a little different? A little wild… maybe a bit out of the ordinary? Then prepare yourselves for service and put on a crisp Australian Army uniform (that the ladies love) because you are about to drive an ARMY TANK. That’s right, the GC is home to Australia’s only functioning tanker and they will let you drive it! Bring your childhood fantasy of being in charge of a tanker to life, without even having to enlist! This is a stand out GC activity like no other. Go on, you know you wanna.
Golf Day
A day on the green is never to be overlooked. The Gold Coast has some of the finest golf ranges, weather conditions and lucky flukes… apparently. Who doesn’t love chucking on their checked pants, crisp ralph lauren and visor for some fun in the sun? We challenge you not to have a good time, especially if you’re inclined for a cheeky refreshment on the course. Give in and let your inner golf lover shine through, what else are holidays for if not to have a good putt around?
Surfing Lessons
SURFING! Naturally, this is a must. The conditions are impeccable, for beginners and for those a little more seasoned. Choose from an array of golden beaches, with smooth waves just CALLING your name. Even if you aren’t an avid surfer, jump in for a swim, it’s beautiful out there. Surfers from around the world flock to the Gold Coast in the hope of snagging the perfect barrel, and good things come to those who wait! You’ve got to be in it to win it, so rent a board and get amongst it.
Barefoot Bowls
Barefoot bowls, the games not what it used to be and in fact it’s a heck of a lot better now that the oldies have let us in on it. With bevvies flowing, no need for shoes and a relaxing session under the warm Aussie sun this is one of our favourite past times here on the GC! You can go all out and make a dress up party occasion out of it or simply play a few rounds with a mate. The drinks are cheap as chips, the musics typically old school classic and the company, well that is up to you!
VIP Nightclub Experience
VIP Nightclub experience, because after all… you can’t come here and not party. And if you’re going to party, you may as well do it properly. Live it up in style as you are treated like the royalty you really are (well sort of), alcohol on tap, no lines or hassle. This is practically an investment. Choose from the array of popular nightclubs on the Gold Coast and have yourselves a very good time that you may or may not remember the next morning. But don’t worry, nothings beats a hangover like a quick dip in the ocean! Phew.
Theme Parks
Last but not least, we have got to recommend visiting one of the four theme parks on offer! Want to get drenched while your stomach drops around your ankles? Check out Wet ‘N’ Wild the water park is full of thrills, splashes and laughs. Fancy yourself a movie buff of sorts? Then Movie World will be everything you want and more, our personal favourite is the Scooby Doo Ride (expect a surprise). Any animal lovers among us? Seaworld has some of the rarest sea life in all of Australia and epic shows for your enjoyment. Oh and for a good old classic scream, hit up Dreamworld… home to tiger or two as well as some truly adrenline based rollercoasters! Not to mention the surf rider there is something for everyone to have a fun filled day of activites.
